WATER RESOURCES MANAGEMENT

Water is a finite and essential resource. At ESOLVE we help to manage responsibly, ensuring its availability and quality for present and future generations. To this, we design strategies for comprehensive water management and optimisation of its use in industrial, urban and natural environments. We base our expert advice on the historical, present and future study of Resources and Demands in each case.

Water resource: We analyse traditional supply sources, as well as potential existing unexploited resources. We define the guarantee of supply in quantity and quality, and the associated costs.

Water consumption: Each production process and industrial plant is unique. At ESOLVE we analyse the demand of each client by uses and required quality, as well as its possible temporal variation due to production requirements.

In a context of climate change, industry must manage the risk of discontinuity of production due to lack of water. At ESOLVE we provide diagnosis and prognosis that consider scenarios of restrictions in the water supply, lower supply, and at the same time, study and implementation of drought saving measures.

Wastewater and reuse: Finally, the use of water generates wastewater streams that are a potential resource. The analysis of wastewater treatability and purification is a key factor in ensuring regulatory compliance in discharge, and also, in identifying the potential for water reuse in a ZLD (Zero Liquid Discharge) approach.

We also carry out consultancy and technical assistance in Water Resources Management for public bodies. In this type of project, we provide the updating of demand and consumption data, control of status indicators, drafting of monitoring reports, review of management and savings measures and help in coordination with other bodies and technical support to technical managers in water resources management.
