• Advanced diagnosis: Identification of any compound of interest in soils, water, or vapor in the laboratory at nanogram (parts per trillion) detection limits.
  
  
• Technology: Development and application of technologies capable of facing the present and future challenges. An example is emerging contaminants removal technologies such as PFAS, drugs or cosmetics.
  
  
• Bioremediation of soils and waters: Sustainability applied to subsoil treatment and water purification. Selection of the most appropriate microbial consortium (autochthonous or allochthonous) to promote natural processes of biological degradation.
  
  
• Environmental Sensorization and Monitoring: Digitalisation applied to environmental control.
